Iconic brand built on adventure and capability to lead runners across Pittsburgh’s 26.2-mile journey

PITTSBURGH, PA  – P3R is proud to announce Jeep as the Official Vehicle of the 2026 DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events, further enhancing marathon weekend with a brand synonymous with adventure, endurance, and capability.

As part of the partnership, the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler will serve as the official pace vehicle, leading DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon and FedEx Pittsburgh Marathon Relay participants along the 26.2-mile course on Sunday, May 3. The course spans all three of Pittsburgh’s rivers, winds through 14 neighborhoods, and showcases the city’s iconic bridges and vibrant communities before finishing downtown.

“Jeep is a brand built on resilience, exploration, and pushing boundaries. These values align perfectly with the spirit of the DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon,” said Troy Schooley, P3R CEO. “Whether navigating rugged terrain or 26.2 miles of city streets, both Jeep and our participants embrace the journey, the challenge, and the determination it takes to reach the finish line. We’re proud to welcome Jeep as a partner in delivering an unforgettable marathon weekend experience.”

In addition to its presence on course, Jeep will engage participants and spectators at the Pittsburgh Live Well Expo presented by GNC. Attendees can visit the Jeep activation to sign a custom-wrapped Jeep and create personalized cheer cards to support participants throughout marathon weekend.

“At Jeep, we celebrate those who go further, push harder, and never back down from a challenge,” said Brittany Pietrunti, Director of Marketing - Northeast Business Center at Jeep. “Partnering with the Pittsburgh Marathon allows us to connect with a community that embodies grit, perseverance, and passion—values that drive everything we do as a brand. We’re excited to be part of marathon weekend and help lead runners to the starting line and beyond.”

The DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events will take place May 1–3, 2026, and is expected to welcome a record of 50,000 participants across all events. For more information about the 2026 events, visit ThePittsburghMarathon.com.
