Kick off the 2026 season with the Steelers 5K Run and Walk! All proceeds will benefit the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund and Chuck Noll Foundation for brain injury research. Gather your friends and family and get ready to represent Steelers Nation and show your Steelers pride this Labor Day Weekend!
Race Packet Pickup
- Date: Friday, September 4th, 2026
- Location: Ticketmaster Gate B at Acrisure Stadium
- Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Parking: Available in Ridge Avenue Lot, look for signage
*Participants are highly encouraged to attend packet pickup as there will be no gear check on race day.
Race Day Schedule
- Date: Monday, September 7th, 2026
- Location: FedEx Great Hall Center Gate at Acrisure Stadium
- 6:00 AM: Race day packet pickup opens for those unable to pickup on 9/4 (FedEx Great Hall/Gate B)
- 7:30 AM: Road closures begin. Please plan to arrive early!
- 7:45 AM: Race line-up and pace team identification
- 8:00 AM: Steelers Run and Walk race begins!
- 9:15 AM: Kids Fun Run begins!
- Parking: Free in Gold Lots 1 & 2 | Paid parking in Gold 1 Garage
- Postrace: Awards and raffles will take place in the seating bowl after the Kids Fun Run. Roads will open to traffic at the conclusion of the event and participants will exit through the FedEx Great Hall.
- Food & Drink: Water, Gatorade, and snacks will be provided free of charge before and after the race. No concessions will be open inside the stadium - however, Ribfest will be taking place on Art Rooney Avenue offering multiple food options.

Yes. Please visit here for more information. Overall and age group awards/prizes are only eligible to in-person/officially timed participants. Virtual participants are not eligible for any timed awards or prizes.
Yes! With a virtual option, Steelers Nation can participate from wherever their Terrible Towel is waved! International participants will have an additional $10 charge for shipping.
Virtual participants must register by Friday, August 15 to anticipate their t-shirt, finisher medal and goodie bag for race day. Virtual participants that register after August 21, will receive their race items 2-4 weeks after race weekend has completed.
Yes, active and retired U.S. military personnel are eligible for discounted rates. Please email us at info@p3r.org for more details. Please note that dependents are not eligible to receive this discount - it is for active and retired U.S. military personnel only.
When you register, you will automatically be entered to win prizes! Refer friends to join you for extra entries into the prizes!
Baby joggers, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, strollers, roller skates and roller blades are NOT permitted on the course.
Dogs are NOT permitted on the course.
Snacks will be provided post-race but there will be no additional food for sale. Rib Fest will be open after the race.
If you notice a non-emergency issue, such as a pothole, a hazardous sidewalk, or a downed wire, please call 3-1-1 to report it to city services. 3-1-1 service requests are directed within 24 hours to the city agency that works to solve your issues. City agencies respond to requests as quickly as possible.
