Meet the 2023-2024 P3R Athletes! P3R has partnered with six college student-athletes. As part of this opportunity, these P3R Athletes will create content for P3R’s social networks including instructional videos, blogs and other resources to inspire all ages to MOVE. Jake Borgesi

Jake Borgesi

Jake is a Freshman at Penn State University. He spent his High School career running in Pittsburgh at South Fayette where he earned Nike All-American honors.

Aurielle Brunner

Aurielle Brunner

Aurielle is a member of the Chatham University Women's Basketball AND Track & Field teams. She won four golds at the PAC Championships (long jump, triple jump, high jump, 4x400m relay) and was voted the PAC Most Outstanding Field Performer as well as PAC Most Outstanding Overall Performer.

Breanna Kelley

Breanna Kelley

Breanna won Gold with Team USA (U21) at the Pan American Cup in the summer of 2022. She now plays for the University of Pittsburgh Women's Volleyball team and was voted to the preseason All-ACC team in 2023.

Trevor Paschall

Trevor Paschall

Trevor is a freshman at the Unviersity of North Carolina where he runs Track & Field. He was the 100m, 200m, 400m and 4x100m relay WPIAL champion in 2021 at North Catholic High School. He finished first in the 200m and second in the 400m at the PIAA Class AA state championships.

Karsyn Spears

Karsyn Spears

Pittsburgh native Karsyn Spears is a top mid-distance runner at Kent State University. She earned All-MAC second team for her performance in the 800-meter run. She also is a member of the school's Cross Country team.

Mara Whalen

Mara Whalen

Mara Whalen attends Duquesne University where she is a Track & Field and Cross Country athlete. She was a WPIAL Champion in the 4x800m, and 4x400m in 2019. In 2021, She placed first in the open 400m and fourth in both the 800m and 400m at the PIAA State Championships.
