Tag
Objective: To promote movement, social interaction, and body control while learning to start, stop, and change direction in play.
Equipment/Set-Up
- Outdoor/indoor open space to move
- Optional: cones to show who is "it" and who is not.
How to Play: Player(s) are picked as the chaser ("it"), to catch the other players. The non-chasers move to avoid being caught.
Types of Tag

| Tagged, players must freeze in place until another player unfreezes them by tagging them. | Tagged players squat like a toilet. Modification Chart

| 🟠 3-4 year old | Increase speed to include running and changing directions. Add simple rules like "freeze" when caught. | Balance, Timing, Focus |
