The Kids of STEEL Challenge
The Kids of STEEL Challenge motivates kids to stay active all year long by participating in a series of fun, age-appropriate races. When participants complete 3 out of the 6 races throughout the year, they earn an exclusive Kids of STEEL Challenge medal!

No additional sign-ups needed. If you register for any of the 3 qualifying events, you will be automatically added to the Kids of STEEL Challenge.
When you cross the finish line of each of your events, you will receive your event medal at the finish line.
After you complete your 3rd qualifying event, visit the Kids of STEEL tent near the finish line to pick up your hard-earned Kids of STEEL Challenge Medal.
(Kids of STEEL Tent location will be communicated more specifically in pre-race communication.)
Kids 15 and under are eligible to earn a Kids of STEEL Challenge medal.

You will receive your medal after completing your 3rd event. Everything after that is extra credit.😄
Yes, virtual participation counts towards the Kids of STEEL Challenge. Your medal will be mailed to you after your third complete event.
