Tic Tac Toe Relay

Description of Activity

Create a tic tac toe board on one end of your playing space. The opposite end will be where each player begins. To start the game each player will simultaneously grab one of their X or O markers and race across the playing space to the board. Each player will place their item in a spot on the board. They will then race back and either tag the next person on their team, or grab a second marker and race back to place that on the board. You will play until one team/player gets three items in a row. 

Equipment Needed

A tic tac toe board (chalk, jump ropes, etc.) 

Two different sets of items to be used as X's and O's (cones, stuffed animals)

Potential Modifications

This can be a head-to-head game or played with two teams with multiple players.
