P3R Announces Road Closures for the 2025 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K on Sunday, Nov. 9

A record of 5,500 runners expected to toe the start line

PITTSBURGH – One of Pittsburgh’s most anticipated fall races, the 2025 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K, will bring together a record 5,500 runners from 33 states and four countries for a scenic tour of the city’s iconic neighborhoods and landmarks.

In preparation for the event, P3R has announced the following road closures and parking restrictions for Sunday, Nov. 9.

The 10K race will start at 7:30 a.m. near mile 4 of the 10-mile course on West General Robinson Street, taking participants through the Strip District and Downtown Pittsburgh. The 10-mile race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on West Carson Street near Station Square, winding through the West End, North Side, Strip District, and Downtown, before finishing in front of EQT Plaza at the corner of 7th Street and Liberty Avenue. Road closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on race day as participants make their way through each neighborhood. In addition, no parking will be allowed on streets along the race route beginning at 4:00 a.m. Any vehicles parked after that time will be towed.

Residents, businesses, and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes or public transportation when possible. To view the full map of road closures and find alternative routes, click here.
