FlyBy 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk presented by CNX Resources

Race the runway with your whole family at the FlyBy 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk presented by CNX Resources. This unique course lets participants run through the airfield and taxiways of Pittsburgh International Airport, taking them past aircraft parked along the runway and showing them a side of the airport few get to see.

This family-friendly race makes it possible for everyone to race the runways and earn their wings! There are two options to participate: the 5K (a timed 3.1-mile course) and the 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk (untimed), so there's something for everyone. Both courses are stroller-friendly, and children younger than 4 years old can register for free.* 

*Children aged four or younger on race day can register at no charge; however, due to FAA requirements for who can be on the property, these children must be officially registered for the event and wear their assigned race bib to identify them as event participants.

5K Rules:

• 90-minute time limit
• Strollers are allowed in this event, but everyone on the course, including those in a stroller, must be registered to participate. Children ages 4 and under can be registered at no additional cost.
• No animals are allowed on the course unless they are a registered service animal.

2 Mile Fun Run/Walk Rules:

• This is a fun run/walk and is not a timed event.
• You will have a maximum time limit of 45 minutes to complete this run/walk.
• Strollers are allowed in this event, but everyone on the course, including those in a stroller, must be registered to participate. Children ages 4 and under can be registered at no additional cost.
• No animals are allowed on the course unless they are a registered service animal.

What activities can we expect?

• Touch-a-Truck with airport equipment!
• Urban Trail Coffee Co. and Kona Ice will be on-site to purchase fuel before and after the race
• Face painting for the kids!
• Lawn games with Kids of STEEL
• And more!

Where do I go on race day?

• The start/finish area is located at 100 Airside Drive Moon Township PA 15108.

Where do I park?

• FREE parking is available at the Park N Ride located behind Sheetz on University Blvd. Shuttles will be available to take you to the start line area!
